With our recent growth in the last six or so years I have been asked over and over "How big are you guys going to get?" So I thought we would take a moment and explain why we have expanded to multiple locations (currently adding our 8th) and not stay the small family business Pop started in 1973 behind the house in Doylestown. It is really pretty simple, convenience & customer service. You see my father Dave (Pop) really understood customer service and the business grew and grew. As Dan and I took over we had people driving miles and miles to come to Doylestown to have their cars, vans and trucks repaired. Some from collisions, some for body and rust repair. So in 2006 we decided to make it convenient for the Wooster and surrounding markets by opening on Cleveland Road just North of Smithville Western, next to Hartzler Dairy. After a couple of years we were approached by Kirk Spurgeon from Spurgeon Chevrolet (formerly Red Ferris Chevrolet) who wanted to partner and bring the Nagy's processes and culture into his building. If you click on the "About" tab above you will see that started a string of reaction from other dealership owners and some independents. Some were ready to retire, some just wanted to be part of a bigger team. Dan & I, with the help of many of our staff, built a Complete Repair Process with Standered Operating Procedures so that the repairs and quality are the same as Pop did back in the 70's and 80's. The vehicles have changed dramatically. From metals and plastics, to the electronic controls. But one thing we have remained consistent on is the customer service culture that Pop started in 1973. We just hope now it's more convenient!
